Sales Analyst

Work with Sales and Finance management to plan, forecast, report, and recommend actions based on analysis of sales and financial data for K2 Sports business segments.




  1. Track and monitor financial status of K2 Sports US Sales
  2. Review, report and make recommendations based on variance in revenue and expenses.
  3. Create, prepare and summarize data to management team.
  4. Work with Sales Managers to streamline forecasts and analyze trends in product and customer sales.
  5. Sales forecasting – Measure and analyze monthly and annual Sales trends.
    1. Coordinate monthly sales and margin reforecast and  review, analyze and support sales managers
    2. Prepare files and coordinate fiscal year sales and margin plans
    3. Prepare , compile and audit rep forecasting.
  6. Inventory analysis
    1. Review monthly purchases vs forecast and sales orders
    2. Track and monitor on-hand inventory vs demand
    3. Review and report on aged inventory on a quarterly basis
  7. Implement internal and external sales reporting for trade associations
  8. Review and manage seasonal pricing strategies. 

Required Qualifications:
  1. Understanding of budgeting process
  2. Strong analytical skills
  3. Strong Financial understanding
  4. Data base analysis (Cognos, SAP, Pivot Link) and report writing skills
  5. Expert mastery of Excel.
  6. Knowledge of Word, Outlook, Power Point, Access etc.
  7. Strong Accounting/Finance knowledge
  8. Strong communication and writing skills.
  9. Strong organizational skills. 
  10. High energy level.

Desired Qualifications:

Four year business degree required, MBA a plus; any combination of education and experience which would provide the applicant with the desired skills, knowledge and ability required to perform the job. 3 – 5 years Wholesale / Retail experience also desirable.
